If you need help with a legal issue, you've come to the right place. The State Bar of Montana's Lawyer Referral and Information Service is a good start. In just a few short minutes, you can obtain the name of an attorney to help you with your legal need. Or, you can pursue other options for resolving your issue.

Not sure if you need a lawyer? Help is no more than a phone call away. Talk to an experienced LRIS legal assistant who can help you locate the best resource.
I want to hire a lawyer.
Fill out a form with your contact information, select the area of law you need an attorney for, and the State Bar of Montana will refer you to a lawyer registered with its service. It's that simple!
I can't afford a lawyer.
If your income falls below certain guidelines, you might be eligible for free or low-cost legal services.  There are also free resources available for issues including consumer information, disability rights, landlord-tenant hotlines and many more.

I want more information.
